Success next Tuesday and it is Dover at home in the next round.
Dover Athletic Football Club are currently 12th in the National League.
9 away games so far this season have resulted in 6 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses.
At home they’ve won 2, drawn 3 and lost 5.
So they’re probably happy to be drawn away and possibly hoping it will be against Posh as a bigger money spinner.
The club's best performance in the FA Cup was reaching the third round proper in both the 2010–11 and 2014–15 seasons.

IF we beat Stevenage we should surely consider this an easy passage into Round 3.

Despite their having a weekend off thanks to Bury I hope somebody on the Posh staff and the odd player will tune in to BT Sport TV this teatime to watch Yeovil v Dover. Kick off is at 5.20 pm. Useful tips may be had perhaps.

From the Dover Official site
http://www.doverathletic.com/news/free- ... cup-match/
You will have a fantastic extra incentive to come to Crabble for our National League showdown against Solihull Moors on Saturday 23rd November.

Taking into account the cost to support Whites on the road and with plenty of away trips on the horizon, Chairman Jim Parmenter has made a very generous offer of FREE travel ahead of our upcoming Emirates FA Cup second round tie.

In a gesture of goodwill to our loyal fanbase, our chairman has up to 250 coach spaces available for our visit to either Peterborough United or Stevenage Borough during the weekend of Saturday 30th November.

FA Cup second round tie to take place on a Sunday.

Posh’s FA Cup second round tie with Dover Athletic will take place at London Road on Sunday 1st December (2pm) and will be featured in the BBC coverage of the competition.

The Motorpoint Stand will be closed for this fixture.

So they're not expecting a record crowd then.

Interesting info from the FA concerning live matches and money awarded for when the games are played. £6,750 for Saturday games, £12,500 for Sunday games.

I have some rather disturbing news regarding this fixture I have heard that a certain Gentleman who has not witnessed a victory at London Road for about fifty years is going to be attending this one, on the plus side there has been a lot of draws amongst the lean times, and many away wins, so as it's a cup fixture, a replay might occur, which he won't be attending.

Nope. No replay. Though I think Bristol to Dover is doable. UTP

I must confess that I've wasted more time at Crabble than playing Scrabble so I wont be going to a replay. Is the Sunday match on TV???

Sort of. I think the BBC dart from ground to ground whenever anything interesting happens and Posh comes under this umbrella.
