If he can keep hold of a 16 year old when offered that sort of money surely he'll hold on to the first team stars.

I believe there is a genuine will to hold on to the top players, but if someone offers 2.5 million for Maddison and he wants to go then that's that. Mr Fry has already stated that Ivan Toney is staying unless somebody offers money they just cannot turn down, say 10 million. There may be teams out there needing players for other positions, FBT, Reed, Dembele and Kent could be targets. Hopefully somebody has a list of replacements if this is the case.

However it's not just us, doubtless some of our competitors will also be under some pressure and may not be in as good position to turn offers down.

With regard to Spurs and our 16 year old if they offer 2 million straight off they would probably pay more, loose change to them.

I actually believe Maddison should stay with us whatever, he is 'loved' or at least understood here, Fergie Jnr gets the best out of him and handles him well, a big money transfer to Sunderland could create pressure stress and unhappiness for him, he is top dog here and should be offered big bucks to stay with a get out clause raised to 5 million.

It might be stressful if we sell our star players.
Hopefully we'll keep them and not have to worry about buying more.

Blake-Tracey, Kent, Pym, Mason have been far better than any brought in by the loud mouthed Jock.

Blake-Tracey is no better than either left back we had last season.
Pym is no better than Chapman, in fact I'd have Chapman back in goal.
Kent is no better than Taff.
Mason is no better than Naismith or Ward at right back.
Boyd is no better than Dembele or Ward.
Knight (in midfield) is no better than Woodyard (but he should be playing centre half).
Tasdemir is no better than Dembele in the number 10 role.

It's a pile of **** & we've been sussed out in November. Not bad going for Ferguson.

Blake-Tracey is no better than either left back we had last season. wrong
Pym is no better than Chapman, in fact I'd have Chapman back in goal. wrong
Kent is no better than Taff. totally wrong
Mason is no better than Naismith or Ward at right back. wrong
Boyd is no better than Dembele or Ward. he's had a couple of poor games, but you don't bother coming on to comment when we're winning
Knight (in midfield) is no better than Woodyard (but he should be playing centre half). i like Woody but he hasn't got the engine
Tasdemir is no better than Dembele in the number 10 role. he has more potential and is younger

It's a pile of **** & we've been sussed out in November. Not bad going for Ferguson. are you Ian from Oundle in disguise, we're third time n the table, and will climb again soon

I bet you we’re not third by five o’clock on Saturday

Oh, and Ian is a lot like me. Knows his football and we both played to a decent level.

You should stick with us & learn the game

You have 3 chances of being right Oxford at home to Ipswich, Fleetwood at Portsmouth, and your best bet Coventry at home to Rochdale draws are no good for any of them, so I think we'll still be number three

I think you are talking different Saturdays.
This coming Saturday November 9th.
No League 1 games. We'll still be 3rd
Following Saturday November 16th.

A potential signing in the January Window in young pacy striker "Jorome Slew" from eighth-tier Maldon & Tiptree.

His FA Cup goal- a solo goal starting from his own half - against Leyton Orient was voted goal of the first round.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50367827 (The goal)

The last striker we signed that scored goal of the first round was Junior Morias.
