FA cup

Draw on Monday apparently the last team to be drawn will get a bye. According to some wag on the Walsall website suggested that if that team is Salford the BBC will still have that as their televised match   :clap2:

Apart from the bye who would you like, an away game for me against Newport, Swindon, Forest Green, Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham, Exeter or any West Country non league side within 50 miles of Bristol

I was going to say I wouldn't particularly like to get the bye but I see that -
"The club that receives the bye will also be awarded the £36,000 prize money for a first-round winner."
So, a bye would be pretty good.
Peterborough Sports away would be interesting.

It's a small Lancashire coastal town, just 7 or 8 miles from Blackpool. It is where our talented Serhat Tasdemir came from.

Good question bristle. He failed to make the midweek U23 squad against West Brom too, so I suspect that he is probably receiving treatment. No worries, he is a very young but very talented player!

It's good that a non-league club gets a double pay out, £36,000 plus takings from a second round draw.
Serhat is fine according to Fergie and he is just giving him time away from the lime light. He can go and spend a bit of time with his family!

Non-league Chichester City - the lowest ranked club in the FA Cup - received a bye to the second round following Bury's removal from the competition.

Chichester, seventh in the eighth-tier Isthmian League South East Division, were the final club left in the pot at the end of Monday's first-round draw and receive £36,000 in prize money.

After the draw, Chichester announced they would make a donation to Bury.

What a magnificent gesture by Chichester!

We should all hope they do well in the second round.

Anyway it's Stevenage away. We should have a good if not magnificent following.
And CMS will probably be playing.
