First proper post in this forum...

1. Space Ritual - Hawkwind.
2. Rush in Rio - Rush
3. Metallica - Metallica
4. Made in Germany - Rammstein
5. Weathered - Creed
6. Before the Dawn - Kate Bush
7. A night out with the Dubliners - The Dubliners
8. Hebrides Overture - Mendelssohn

A bit of a mixture for different moods.

Books would be Jo Nesbo’s Harry Hole series.
As has been said, 'All a matter of opinion.'
Obviously, there wouldn’t be much point in this sort of thread if we all picked exactly the same thing

Having seen Hawkwind and Rammstein I can appreciate your taste, but read one Nesbo book and kept falling asleep, if it’s a foreign writer that turns you on, Steig Larson and David Lagercrantz, are superb
Was due to see Rammstein for the first time in June but been put back a year.
As for Jo Nesbo, as Mr Ashman says, all a matter of taste. I’ve read many Jack Reacher too.
I would have chosen Mike Heron’s Slough House series but there are only 6.

From the George Harrison Tribute night. 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps.'

Done here by Tom Petty, Jeff Lyn, Steve Winwood, Prince, Dani Harrison (George's son, doesn't he look like him!) and more! Wonderful version. Watch to the very end and come back and tell me where Prince's guitar ends up!

I know it's about suicide but Megadeth's song A Tout Le Monde is so beautiful it covers all deaths

another I have been thinking of for my own funeral would be Dream Theater's The Spirit Carries On

At my funeral I want them to play Jingle Bells.

It changes almost day to day, but presently its The End from Abbey Road, almost just for Ringos drums and George's guitars. Tomorrow it'll probably be The Ballad of John and Yoko or Hard Days Night.

My albums -

Imagine - John Lennon
Run Devil Run - Paul McCartney
Abbey Rd and Let it Be - The Beatles
The Freewheelin - Bob Dylan
Tommy and Live at Leeds by The Who
Rock and Roll circus - The Rolling Stones

You left out Eric Clapton, and Ringo on drums and Macca on keyboards on another version

See also Billy Prestons version of My Sweet Lord at the same concert

True but imo this was the best version! So where did Prince's guitar go?

 I dunno.

I was thinking of the Concert for George, actually, which also featured Dhani along with Jeff Lynne and Steve Winwood.

Loved Princes solo in that one, but it does make me think of Marty McFly playing Johnny B Goode in 'Back to the Future'
