I didn't think anybody would (or could) respond to my posts yesterday.

Maybe for further clarity of the absolute mess this lying government is making of COVID-19, you might want to look at your favourite right wing newspapers today.

The Daily Torygraph is especially spiteful, closely followed by the Daily Hate.

At last people are beginning to realise.

Once this is all over, can we have another Brexit vote & then another general election please? Now everybody is getting it, we might obtain a much fairer result for the many, now the few.

I have to say Johnson is not top of the pops with anyone but imagine if you will a cabinet with Diane Abbott, we still wouldn't have more than ten cases yet.

Come on Bristle, picking on right wing media favourite Abbott to try to draw level is really scraping the barrel.

Anyhow, have you seen the car crash of a woman who is doing tonights press briefing? No other than Liz Truss.

I'll be pulling up my chair, cracking open a couple of cans & watching in horror at how many questions she attempts to avoid. She makes Abbott look like Carol Vorderman.

at a time like this , the Tories normally bring out Chris Grayling, who trumps and double trumps anything that Diane Abbott would say and do.
yesterday, April fools day, was his birthday. nobody should be surprised at that

liz truss will be every bit as impressive as dominic raab

useless and clueless with a capital F

Johnson has been sacked 3 times for lying

He cannot stand scrutiny

He hides in freezers

He is the Prime Liar

He has a PhD in it

I am sure I am not alone in getting sick & tired of seeing the same old rants on here by trevormans and Gaz Miller. You both seem to have a visceral hatred of the conservative party and its members. The party cannot do anything that meets with your full approval it seems to me. Yes, mistakes have been made but I am equally certain that if either the Labour or Communist parties were in charge, there would have been errors of judgement.
Nobody, except you two is perfect. Just give your moaning a rest please.

no. you are utterly wrong.

i have a visceral hatred of lies , obfuscation, lack of transparency, avoidance of scrutiny and the denial of genuine democracy.

I love democracy , but democracy is more than a vote every five years

i have praised the achievement and the vision of the the opening of the Nightingale hospital , but i will not praise a clown who nobody trusts to tell the truth, and who is found to be wanting when put under scrutiny. A second class degree in Latin is not enough when you peel away the facade

There are many Tories for whom I have an admiration, and few people are more vehemently opposed than I am to Corbyn and his cronies around him.

but his government is both incompetent and apparently unable to tell the truth or to put its views under scrutiny

It is not the Conservative Party to which I am opposed , but rather this pathetic government and its denial of Democracy.

and when there are questions about the lies being spouted about coronavirus are they not relevant to this thread?

coranavirus is a matter of life and death. lies should not be spouted about it,,
It's not that bad Trump says it'll be over by Easter (and he don't lie)

Democracy does not stop when you vote

Your mp is your representative whose job is to hold the Execitive to account

The executive are expected to keep the people properly informed without lies or obfuscation

It is important that we have a free press and media

All these should be ongoing between elections

It is not the peoples job to blindly support the leaders especially when they are being incompetent or telling lies or lacking in transparency

This government and the one before the election have gone out of the way to avoid transparency and scrutiny

Typical johnsonism

I have no answers therefore I will put up a diversion to serve as a smokescreen

Utter irrelevance

I am sure the Labour party would have done a great job on the Coronavirus

If they had not abandoned the working class
If they had not made such dubious friends in the middle east
If they were not anti-Semitic
If Corbyn ever got off the fence
If they had the faintest idea how the majority of the country felt and still feel about Brexit
If collectively they were not the best thing that ever happened to the Conservative party

59 years I favored the Labour party, not now and never again, for me Boris and his mob have not done a bad job, time will tell, one thing I am sure of they are doing better than Labour would have done.
