This is getting beyond a joke, can’t go out can’t shop, I’m still awaiting our experts to blame this on Johnson, on Brexit, and the stupid people who voted for a Tory government

Fixing this pandemic comes before everything.

Football is way down the list.

That's called stating the obvious! I haven't said anything other than what is left of the season, should it re-convene. In no way have I minimised the importance of the pandemic.

I’ll be more than happy if I come out the other side of it. So far so good.

it is clearly not relevant to blame the virus on the government, which is a worldwide catastrophe

it was never relevant to blame the Labour government for the financial crash of 2007/8, as it was a worldwide catastrophe,

but at no time did the Tories ever shy away from blaming Labour for it, and many stupid people accepted it as fact

what truly matters , as in all life, is what is the reaction to a setback or a disaster.

Gordon Brown set about ensuring that there was a coordinated world approach to the crash, and his vigorous work got the world leaders to think proactively on the way forward. Tories always love to vilify Brown , but he was the grownup who stood up when Bush and Sarkozy, and also Cameron and Osborne dithered, and he outlined the basis of the world recovery, (lower interest rates , Qunatitative Easing, Banks rationalisation). The UK economy grew for the next two years until idiot Osborne imposed ridiculous Austerity and GDP fell or flatlined for the next two years ,until he did his Uturn in 2013

it will be interesting to see whether the fat liar is able to work together with other world leaders to come to a coordinated response.

days are early. but the signs are that trump will not respond positively as he is too isolationist, but Fat Liars brexit approach of isolationism does not augur well for a coordinated response

At least , he will think, the recession caused by the virus will mask the disastrous effects of a no deal brexit.

Good for you - that's the responsible attitude I wish everybody would take.

Still hearing people say "it won't stop me" or "I'm not staying in". Even the Prime Ministers dad said if he wanted to go to the pub, he would. What an absolute ar*e.
