What are you watching on TV?

Post by Meatspinner » 26 Feb 2020, 13:09

Let's have a thread where we can discuss what we are watching on TV at the moment, whether it be on the normal channels, Sky or Netflix.

I've just started season two of Narcos Mexico on Netflix.

It's a bit violent but it has a plot with a lot of twists. It's currently looking like it will be better than season one.

Im boring me, I watch mainly detective series mainly on the main channels, but do watch things from Sky one, Fox, Sky Atlantic etc as well, I don’t mind programmes with humour like The Split, and the Halifax thing, Cold Feet. Am hooked on quizzes, The Chase, Pointless, Eggheads, Tenable, Only Connect, House of Games etc etc

Can’t abide things like TOWIE and Love Island.

I'm more boring than bristle.
I watch only programmes that my wife is prepared to watch.
Sunrise (morning)
The Chase Australia (afternoon)
The news at 6pm
ABC Comedy Channel (evening)
Cricket occasionally.
Can't abide soap operas

The morning news. Except for the bit about South Africa beating Australia at pretend cricket. I switched that off.

Just binge watched The Stranger over the weekend on Netflix.

Great British drama - highly recommended.

I thought first of all you were on about Strangers, the John Simm one set in Hong Kong, but I take it you are on about the one with a predominately British cast including Jenifer Saunders

On the ABC Comedy channel last night they showed an episode of "Whose line is it anyway?"
I wouldn't call that comedy. It's seems artificial and probably scripted.
They also showed an episode of "Would I Lie to You?" Very good. Especially Lee Mack.
