Absolute Fury

Post by bristleposh » 23 Feb 2020, 09:26

Probably the best heavyweight fight I've seen in my seventy plus years. I was up just after four and sat through a preliminary fight that was so boring it almost sent me back to sleep. All the preening and pushing don't get me excited, but the media seem to like it. The action was hypnotic how Wilder kept going until the seventh was beyond me.

Typical of the Americans, all three American judges had it six rounds to nil to Wilder.

Fury controlled the fight all the way and made Wilder look like what he has always been, a big bloke with a massive punch but no ringcraft.

I doubt he'll want another schooling off Fury. As for Anthony Joshua, he doesn't stand a chance.

One thing I noticed during the fight - Fury floored Wilder twice with each hand. He was devastating.
