Superb. :D

I especially like the drummer! The only one who didn't have to keep looking at notes.
Great find bristle!

As the offerings on mainstream TV was so bad tonight, we decided to watch videos on youtube including REM live in Monaco, Me First acoustic, Dixie Chicks live in London and Alanis Morisette, some of which we gave up on partway through, also watched a couple of videos by Pistol Annie, Lucinda Williams and PJ Harvey

Chapter VI by Candlemass.

I was more into Bathory at the time but this lot made Swedish Extreme Metal more commercially acceptable

Brutal music from a brutal era.

I see you like Judas Priest. All genres of extreme metal owe a lot to JP.

May I suggest Helloween and Venom as your gateways?

Great band.

Despite a fondness for the darker stuff I've always liked Dream Theater

And Primus

I'm listening to an update on the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Before that I was listening to an old Charlie Pride record.

Helloween, in my opinion created the best heavy metal album ever, Keeper of the 7 Keys

If you haven't heard him before now then everybody should listen to john prine who died yesterday

Probably the best singer song writer to have emerged since 1970
And from the acceptable end of country music
Listen to Sam stone, paradise ,souvenirs, hello in there, angel from montgomery , in spite of ourselves and so many more

Revered by dylan, cash, kristofferson,Baez Springsteen nd so many more

He will touch to you tears one time and make you laugh the next

Undoubtedly one of the best

I first saw him at the cambridge folk festival with steve Goodman in 1973 or 74

Superb guitar picking, wonderful lyrics but very affected 'country' voice ala so many of his contemporaries. Makes my ears squeak!
