On my car journey to the shops yesterday I switched the SatNav off and listened to Johnny Cash for a change.

On my car journey this morning I listened to Street Sounds featuring I'm Not Gonna Let You by Colonel Abrams.

Memories of those great evenings down The Gables with Steve Jason spinning the discs, Big Josh (RIP) on the mic and the lads from Walton and Bretton Woods having a tear up.

This morning's bath time accompaniment was The Shins, they sound a little like The Kinks, The Beatles and Fountains of Wayne

Still dot netters are desperate for a victory I see. Shame.

Back on thread, the new album by Christmas is a belter. Raw punk at it's finest.

Have I missed something, hardly the place for this, this is a music thread, to which this morning I was listening to Sherwood. I’ve never given them as much time as they so obviously deserve.

Waco Brothers new album 'Resist!' came out on Saturday. I'd give it 7/10 - worth a listen. Great cover of 'I Fought the Law'

Always like listening to Johnny Cash (he was an American singer. He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 90 million records worldwide).
