Football/soccer players who wear glasses

Post by Happy Cat » 03 Nov 2019, 14:32

I wear glasses and have worn them since I was six years old. I'm extremely nearsighted/myopic/shortsighted. When I play in my league I wear my safety sports glasses. I was wondering if they're many players in the higher tiers that are glasses -wearers?

I think most wear contact lenses these days.

My parents say in a couple years I can get contacts. I can't wait. They're two other girls on my team that wear glasses. The boy that I have a small crush on wears glasses and he's a Goalkeeper.

Ive worn glasses since i was a teenager, but wore contacts when playing football. Several times had them knocked out and needed first aid to get them back in.

I've been bike racing for 13 years and have always worn prescription racing glasses, never contacts.

I wore glasses when I played in goal for Whittlesey Junior School.
When I went to Deacons I wore glasses when I rode my bike to school. If it was raining I wore them on the bus.
I've never worn contact lenses.

Without my glasses, I don't think I could tell team difference between a football/soccer ball and a golf ball!
