Posh v Rochdale

Post by tonyp » 09 Dec 2020, 21:13

2000 will be in attendance and a few thousand watching on iFollow will see Posh win 3-0. JCH, Szmodics and Eisa will score the goals.
Everybody will be saying what a good game it was and what a great job Fergie did.

Expecting a thumping 5-0 victory - even Jim Gannon could manage this Posh team to a win over Rochdale. Goals from Kanu, Burrows, Hamilton, Clarke and Eisa :P

Rochdale won their last away game 4-0 against a team we 'hammered' 1-0 at home the week before and are unbeaten away from home for a month (OK I'm cheating a bit there as the only away game they played in that time was the 4-0 win at Plymouth but I'm getting my excuses in early like Fergie did before we lost to Crewe Bayern Alexandra Munich)

We all know what he should do, whether he does it or not is purely down to him

Ticket secured in the Moyes End, or whatever it's called these days, never sat or stood in there before as my ST was always in the Family Stand so very much looking forward to it :comeon:

Very interesting.
Ivan Toney’s hat-trick, a Marcus Maddison brace and a goal from Mo Eisa helped Posh to a 6-0 win, that thankfully didn’t feature any more goals in the final 28 minutes!
This time we need a Mo Eisa hat trick, a brace from Jonson Clarke-Harris and a goal from Siriki Dembele to help us to a 6-0 win. I won't mind if some of those goals come in the final 28 minutes.

I predict an upset. Buoyed by their 4-0 drubbing of Plymouth, the team with the worst League One record over the past five games, Rochdale must be licking their lips at the prospect of facing the team ranked 23rd over that same period. The worm may turn.

We'll beat these.

Everything will be rosy and the Chorley debacle won't be mentioned again until we draw another non-league club in the cup in years to come. The chairman will claim he helped devise the covid vaccine, Trump was cheated & Peterborough should be in Tier zero.

A few changes, quite bold for him

Surprised Hamilton not even on the bench
