Post by HantsPosh » 20 Nov 2020, 16:08

Tonight at 6.15pm on talkSPORT2.

Posh will travel to one of the following
Arsenal U21
Cheltenham Town
Exeter City
Leyton Orient
Milton Keynes Dons
Oxford United
West Ham United U21

Yep dunno where I got Norwich from, I've deleted them

It can't be Exeter City, Cheltenham Town or Leyton Orient because they are in the same pot as Cambridge United and it can't be Norwich City under 21's as they finished runners-up to Cheltenham Town.

So we will be drawn away to West Ham United under 21's, Arsenal under 21's, M K Dons or Oxford United.

It's the Round of 32 Draw
Southern section
First round
Probably on Tuesday December 8th

Arsenal U21 vs AFC Wimbledon

MK Dons vs Norwich City U21

Posh vs West Ham U21

Oxford United vs Forest Green Rovers

Cambridge United vs Gillingham

Exeter City vs Northampton Town

Cheltenham Town vs Portsmouth

Leyton Orient vs Bristol Rovers

If we win we'll get to play the winner of one of the other teams in the southern section in the second round.

Then the quarter finals will be between the winners of the second round of both northern and southern sections.

That's the way I read it. That could very easily be wrong!!

According to the Posh Official fixture list it's being played at Rush Green.

I think that was intentional (one of bristle's jokes).

The young Hammers, who topped Group A in the Southern section of the prestigious cup competition, will travel to the Weston Homes Stadium in early December for the exciting tie.
If it's going to be exciting it should be worth watching.
