Oxford v Posh FA Cup

Post by tonyp » 04 Nov 2020, 18:15

Posh are likely to rest players for this game.
So, we could be in for an entertaining game.
Could end up in a draw. With Eisa scoring a hat trick and Oxford winning on penalties.
Posh fans will be saying we should be concentrating on winning the league anyway.

Hopefully we will play mainly fringe players, save the first team for the important games
Depends on whether DMac and Fergie want us to go further than Round 1.

"Manager Darren Ferguson is likely to freshen up his side but has given no indication of how many changes he will make other to say it will not be ‘wholesale alterations’.
it is an opportunity for us to freshen things up, which we will do, but make no mistake we want to win the game and I am looking forward to the game,” Darren Ferguson said.

apologies if this has been covered before but why do you have to pay more to watch if you're based in the UK than you do if you live overseas?

£10 UK £7 overseas. Might actually pay to watch on Saturday now that #projectfear has suspended Non League Football which has been a god send so far this season for watching live games. Just hope I can link it up to my TV as don’t like watching on a small iPad screen

All you need is a Smart TV connected to the internet and then access the game through your browser - or connect TV to your laptop using a HDMi lead. Good luck!

Because we have to pay exporbitant bank fees to transfer the funds. Not to mention that we're not as wealthy as you lot.

Another excellent win and Posh progress to round 2 - For some reason, I only got an audio feed and it sounded like Oxford had the possession whilst we got the 2 goals with a little luck...no matter, this is a very, very good squad for League 1 and we are on a roll

Great game. I expected to see Eisa score but next time perhaps?
Suddenly, not many are saying the FA Cup is a waste of time.
Although we haven't heard from Bristle yet!

It is a waste of time without fans, if we are allowed back in in January for round 3, it could be worth it if we get drawn away to a top six side, otherwise there is very little in it, hence why we played six reserves, and brought on another in the first half. Our strength in depth is so much better this season.
