Posh v Shrewsbury

Post by tonyp » 29 Oct 2020, 22:39

On the Shrewsbury Official site
https://www.shrewsburytown.com/news/202 ... gh-united/
they are reminding their fans of two previous occasions that Shrewsbury visited London Road.
League Two, Saturday 24 September 2005: Posh 0-2 Shrewsbury Town. Attendance: 4,274
League One, Saturday 23 February 2019: Posh1-2 Shrewsbury Town. Attendance: 6,262

Maybe they think they can win this time.

5-1 Posh....we will maul them, run them ragged and thrash them with a 90 minute display of totally dominant attacking football played at high tempo...JCHx2, Dembele, Ward, Szmodics with the goals

Correct. Except that they won't have time to score 1 goal.

Have to win & have to get into the top 2 as soon as possible & stay there.

With the inevitable lockdown looming, we need to cement our position.

Can't argue with that.

One change Mason in for Thompson, let’s hope we revert to three central defenders with Ward and Butler given the freedom to get forward

No, but I'm not going to jump off the roof either.

Besides, we're winning thanks to Dembele
