Darren Ferguson said "He is one of the best players I will have managed and will ever manage, there is no doubt about that"
and
Darragh MacAnthony added: "George has been a wonderful player for this football club and has handled himself superbly throughout his time. There is no question that he will be inducted into the club's Hall of Fame for all he has achieved here."

Just like CMS & Tomlin, he should never have been bought back. Seeing him 'play' last season was awful compared to what he did in his first spell.

Still, like CMS & Tomlin, he gave me some of my best memories as a Posh fan.

Good luck George - and thank you.

George has been the most exciting player that I have ever witnessed in a Posh shirt. Not only that, he never gave the club any form of trouble, hardly ever got injured and was a wonderful servant to the club at all times. He will never be forgotten but remembered as a TRUE club legend. He will no doubt be inducted into the Hall of Fame. (if the fans ever get back inside the stadium!)

As DMac said in his tribute to George;

"Nothing But Love & Respect for this Club Legend. One of (if not) the most important signings made in my period with the club. Goodbye for now Legend."

I reckon he will be back in some capacity.
