No, just use a little restraint and patience about our players!

Interesting thoughts of the Wigan manager and their reporter after last night's game. Particularly relevant are his comments about JCH.

https://www.wigantoday.net/sport/footba ... -h-3010837

'The Latics boss was also repeating himself on the subject of the defending which led to the only goal of the game. Jonson Clarke-Harris’ finish was right out of the top drawer, with the Posh striker chesting the ball before volleying past Jamie Jones in the flash of an eye.'

.... and from the local reporter Paul Kendrick, "Latics won’t come up against too many strikers as good as Clarke-Harris this season. Posh have a long line of producing centre-forwards that have moved up the divisions for big money – think Britt Assombalonga, Dwight Gayle, Conor Washington, Jack Marriott and ex-Latics man Ivan Toney – and Clarke-Harris could well be the next off the production

I think someone is a little bit smitten with our new striker

Patience is for young kids from non league making a big step up not for million pound plus players who’ve played in this division for several years. Assombalonga, Gayle, Marriott, Godden etc didn’t need to settle in they hit the ground running straight away.

I think someone from Hampshire might be digging a very big hole to fall into, JCH has already scored 3 goals and doesn’t appear to be fully fit yet.

HantsPosh is probably just as pleased as the rest of us that JCH is scoring.

correct tonyp he is, hopefully he keeps it going but one swallow doesn't make a summer. Is it OK to say that or is that an opinion which as we all know is frowned upon on this 'forum' unless it's to say everything and everyone is wonderful and amazing

In my opinion, you are as much entitled to your opinion as anyone else.
