Watching Posh Online

Post by Twinkle » 24 Aug 2020, 16:18

I saw an article in the Daily Mail "EFL make huge deal with Sky Sports to allow clubs in ALL three divisions to stream every match of the 2020-21 season live on their websites"
Does anyone know when this will start and whether it means that iFollow will stop?
Thanks

As far as I can understand, you still have to buy an iFollow subscription and if you are season ticket holders then you will be able to watch live games on your 'pooter, tablet or phone. I think that STHs will be given vouchers to log into iFollow in order to watch the games. Whether this includes away games too I'm not sure?!

I do hope you won’t be standing in front of your computer.

Or they could just let people back into stadiums and report the death figures for this virus properly as it's not 40,000+, that way they'd stop scaring people and ruining their lives and futures.

According to an article in the Sunderland Echo https://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/fo ... ub-2952815
Peterborough United co-owner Darragh MacAnthony believes the iFollow streaming fee of £10 per match for non-season ticket holders is too cheap.
The EFL announced plans to stream games being played behind-closed-doors after reaching a temporary agreement with Sky Sports.
“Season ticket holders will be given codes for iFollow,” MacAnthony told his ‘Hard Truth’ podcast.
“It’s £10 a go for other fans
which is too cheap in my opinion, especially when three or more people are sitting in the same room watching the same stream.
“I would also urge our fans to sign in to games through our stream as there is a 70-30 split in terms of the money generated.
“Sunderland’s 30,000 fans will still generate a decent sum. Our fans are loyal, but there obviously aren’t that many of them.”

Despite having paid my season ticket fees for the coming season over a month ago I haven't received any written confirmation yet. How will the iFollow passcodes be conveyed to ST holders?

When they are ready I assume. No need to panic yet; it's another ten days before the league season starts.

It's only a week to the first Home match and still no sign of a voucher. Has anyone here received their voucher yet???
