Callum Cooke has joined Bradford on a permanent two year deal

Posh Players leaving
Not many more of Evans’ “mentally strong” dead wood to get rid of now. Just Louis Reed probably who to be fair is an OK squad player to come off the bench and play a few games.
Re: Players leaving
Toney's value will likely be a lot less now due to the pandemic as clubs won't have nearly as much to spend now
Think Watford or Norwich would be a good move for him tbh, especially Watford if he likes paying for 4 managers a season!

Re: Players leaving
I don't think that DMac or Barry Fry will go along with that thinking!
For example
"Celtic should stop 'piddling about' over Toney as he'll earn them £50million in future, says Fry"
and
" Fry and chairman Darragh MacAnthony are hoping the Glasgow outfit 'get serious' with an offer that is closer to their valuation of 24-goal Toney."

A journalist working for the Sun believes that Peterborough striker Ivan Toney is on the verge of a move to Premier League hopefuls Brentford amid reported interest from Rangers and Celtic.
The 24-year-old striker was reportedly subject to a £4m bid from Celtic which was booted out by Peterborough with reports suggesting the Celtic Park side had stolen a march on Rangers.
However, Jordan Davies believes that Brentford are “on the verge” of securing a four-year deal for the player potentially worth £9m.

Peterborough Telegraph reports-
Ferguson said:
“It would be better if things were resolved quickly, but the owners quite rightly won’t sell Ivan unless they get the right price so it could be we end up with the best striker in League One playing for us at the start of the season so I’m quite relaxed about it.
“I can’t sign anyone until he leaves which again is not ideal as I would want as much time as possible with the player we bring in to replace him.

One of Evans 'mentally strong players ' was described as a high performer in this division by Glyn Hodges, his new manager.bristleposh wrote: ↑06 Aug 2020, 18:53Alex Woodyard signs for AFC Wimbledon

If he was, he wouldn't be joining Wimbledon, would he?

Re: Posh Players leaving
You would have to be a 'mentally strong player' to do well under `Evans. He just didn't have a clue how to manage the lad. I believe that he destroyed all Alex's confidence but when he returned for us towards the back end of the season, under Fergie, he was beginning to show the qualities that we were expecting of him. The acquisition of the loan players then pushed him back down the pecking order. I believe that he could do a good job under the appropriate manager. The Cowley brothers worked very well with him and Glynn Hodges could just be the man to do it again. Good luck Alex, a 100% trier.DaveLister wrote: ↑06 Aug 2020, 20:00One of Evans 'mentally strong players ' was described as a high performer in this division by Glyn Hodges, his new manager.bristleposh wrote: ↑06 Aug 2020, 18:53Alex Woodyard signs for AFC Wimbledon

He certainly seemed to do well at Tranmere at the beginning of the year, or at least their performances seemed to improve after his arrival.

Surprised he's found another club at this level.
Poor signing for us, which surprised me as Lincoln fans were up in arms that he'd left. Maybe a league two player.

Maybe NOT an Evans player. He played superbly for Lincoln and was their captain. He also did well at Tranmere and for a short while at Posh when Darren used him.Gaz_Miller wrote: ↑07 Aug 2020, 08:12Surprised he's found another club at this level.

Re: Posh Players leaving
He did *okay* when Fergie had to put him back in, but he really wasn't very good.
Lincoln were in League 2 & Tranmere were heading in that direction. Maybe that's his level?
However, a poor signing by Evans.

When does Sirikis contract end? I saw this morning a valuation of 5 million on the transfer rumour site with interest from Fulham, Forest and Palace. Fingers crossed it's garbage.
