According to Gaz, we have no excuses about winning the league now that Barcelona have accepted our bid of £624 million for Lionel Messi

Stick to facts else it makes your comments look very childish.

Facts are...

We have the most expensive squad in the league - by far
We have the most money in the league - by far
The manager has been given every single player he has asked for - bar none

...if you think we have any excuses, please list them now.

At the moment I'd suggest we don't need any excuses, perhaps that opinion may change by Sunday morning

An expensive squad and loads of money do not guarantee success.
You’re right, there should be no excuses but there are factors which could make us less than invisible. Every team we play will want to beat us and will up their game, we might get injuries to key players, we have a young squad and players firm may be inconsistent, bad refereeing decisions may go against us (how costly was that penalty at Wycombe?), etc.

An expensive squad and loads of money do not guarantee success - TRUE, but given the fact we are streets ahead of the rest, it SHOULD go a long way towards it. See Man City, PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich in their respective leagues. It makes a HUGE difference

Every team we play will want to beat us and will up their game - Much more likely that every team will up their game against the likes of Sunderland, Portsmouth & Ipswich. They're the BIG teams in this league & they have the reputations to lift every opposition player. Despite our money, Peterborough United are still regarded as small fry. No excuse at all

we might get injuries to key players - so might every team. We have a huge squad for League one. No excuse at all

we have a young squad and players form may be inconsistent - the manager has every player he wants. Again, no excuse whatsoever

bad refereeing decisions may go against us - not having that at all.

This season, we have nothing to fear. We won't even have intimidating crowds against us. As we saw in the Premier League after they restarted, the better team (on paper) won nearly every match. There were no shocks because every game is played on a neutral basis.

Seriously, if we don't win the league, something has gone massively wrong.

Remind me where Man City finished last season.

II think you’ll find teams that are not ‘big teams’ but which spend a lot of money are also the ones others wish to beat.

We have an average sized squad with a lot of young, inexperienced players from the academy

we have a young squad and players firm may be inconsistent - the manager has every player he wants. Again, no excuse whatsoever
See above

bad refereeing decisions may go against us - not having that at all.
must have imagined that crap decision at Wycombe then

If we don’t win the league it’ll give you an excuse for more Fergie bashing.
