I agree, Beevers had a very poor game at Burton but today he was brilliant. Made him, Butler and Dembele men of the Match but every player deserves praise.

Portsmouth and Posh will both be looking to win this game.
A win for us would put us above Portsmouth in the table.
A win for them could put them in the top two.
In other words it's a must win for the Posh.
Well we did win and we are above them in the table.
But look at the top teams from 3 to 8.
1 Coventry 67 points
2 Rotherham 62
3 Oxford Utd 60
4 Peterborough 59
5 Sunderland 59
6 Portsmouth 59
7 Fleetwood 59
8 Wycombe 59

All just one win away from the top two!!

Now that's what you call a strong team performance. Grandson bouncing throughout the game and chose Sammie as MoM. I agree. What a cracking end to the season this is gonna be.

Spot on Bluemike.
My wife (poshaussie) was even pleased to hear the result when I told her at 4 o'clock in the morning!

Our superior goal difference is helping us out here and could be a key factor at the end of the season. Be good to give some a real hiding in the next few games.

Fantastic performance from every single Posh player. 2-0 really did flatter Portsmouth. How anybody can watch the hoofball/rugby tactics every week is beyond me. Truly horrible team.

I said before yesterday we need to win 8 & draw 2. Now it’s 7, 2. Seven of our remaining games are 100% winnible. With this squad there’s no more excuses.

Come on Posh!

I agree 100% with Swanny (not always the case 🙂)
