So we're down to 6th after tonight's games (Tuesday).

We have to go on an almighty run to secure the top two, but it's becoming more & more apparent that the play offs are our only hope now.

Results tonight were a bit of a mixture.
Coventry 1 Rotherham 1, Sunderland Fleetwood 1, (good).
Oxford 3 Accrington 0, Portsmouth 3 MK Dons 1 (not so good.)

There are still 30 points to play for. The Fat Lady (pc?) is still shuffling about adjusting her crinolines!

On the whole, the drastic diamond inspired woeful christmas season form has us in a bit of a scramble for the desired automatic spot - 6 points behind Rovrum and a lot of games left...we should be i a better position but, it is what it is and we have to get a win Saturday without Ivan and then beat Portsmouth for sure...

I'm going to try to keep the fixtures and form up to date. I've already adjusted the first post, taking into account last Saturday's results and those from last night. Apologies if I get one or two wrong.
Ipswich, although looking as if they are starting to drop off the pace, have the best run in of all, 7 at home, 4 away and not having to play a top team in their last six games, four of those being at home.
The picture changes time and again and who knows how this fascinating season will end? Great stuff!

The whole season could be determined by the Christmas form & Darren's dreaded diamond.

If it goes tits up, he has to take the blame.

Not sure if Maths is your strongest subject Ash, but I make it 33 points still to play for. Many twists and turns still to evolve and this season is anything but over for us and a lot of those around us. Just look at the fixtures left for some of the so-called big boys!!!

33 points it is.
We can't do much about the other teams results (apart from the ones we are playing)
Our remaining games-
Sat Feb 29: Burton (a) MUST WIN
Sat Mar 7: Portsmouth (h) DRAW
Sat Mar 14: Bolton (a) MUST WIN
Sat Mar 21: Bristol Rovers (h) MUST WIN
Sun Mar 29: Blackpool (h) MUST WIN
Sat Apr 4: Coventry (a) LOSE
Fri Apr 10: MK Dons (h) MUST WIN
Mon Apr 13: Sunderland (a) LOSE
Sat Apr 18: Shrewsbury (h) MUST WIN
Sat Apr 25: Rochdale (a) MUST WIN

Sun May 3: Tranmere (h) MUST WIN

That's 25 points . I think we'll definitely make the playoffs.

That's why I did this and I hope that it proves helpful or at least of interest to some! Again, I apologise for minor mistakes!

We are only five points off the top 2 and play teams around us, something which we have improved hugely at since the team was reconfigured (barring Fleetwood)

This season is still well and truly on.

And when we can't play and win, we can keep fingers/toes and legs crossed.

Improved 'Fixtures and Form Table' updated this morning. See front page. Apologies for any minor mistakes!

Whether all the teams get to play the remaining fixtures is debatable but if it was up to DMac they would all be played. I tend to agree with him!
