POSH V OXFORD

They looked rather good on TV tonight hopefully going to extra time may get them a bit tired for Saturday.

Another big game and, becasue of our dreadful run over Christmas, one we must win.

I rate Karl Robinson, despite the childish remarks aimed at him from some quarters. He's always done a good job on limited funds.

Come on Posh - keep it going!

Given the level of financial support enjoyed by Posh managers in the MacAnthony era, he would have been very much more successful in my opinion.

Yep. On their forum it's exhaustion that their fans are worried about ahead of the game.

First half goal from Dembele, after a couple of missed opportunities from he and Szmodics, followed by several panicky clearances from Oxford defenders, my thoughts were that Oxford were really lucky not to concede a free kick on the edge of the area and a red card for the perpetrator.

Excellent win against a good Oxford side and battling against some odds of a dreadful ref, injury to Kent and the awful sending off of Thompson but, this is a squad packed with championship level talent...shout out to Christy Pym who was immense as was Thompson i the early exchanges. Ivan Toney is premiership bound and almost unplayable at this level - really good win, really good performance and great entertainment

That was unbelievable, playing against 12 men for most of the game still managing to score even after being reduced to ten. Just about every decision went against Posh. Sadly because of the dire refereeing we are going to have to make several changes from our winning side.

Toney now only 1 card off a ban unless he can stay out of trouble for the next 5 or 6 games. He would be sorely missed.
