Wimbledon v Posh

Post by tonyp » 11 Jan 2020, 22:52

Tuesday 12 March 2019
Wimbledon 1-0 Posh
Attendance: 3,737 (307 Posh fans)
Sunday 12 November 2017
Wimbledon 2-2 Posh
Attendance: 4,220 (452 Posh fans)
We can't afford to lose this time. Even a draw would be unsatisfactory.
The referee for the last game was Ollie Yates and he awarded a controversial penalty to the home side which gave them victory.
Here's hoping we get a better ref this time (assuming there is one). As Wycliffe has pointed out good ones are few and far between.

REFEREE: Darren Drysdale
Wycliffe doesn't rate him very highly.

I really hope Posh win convincingly tomorrow, if for no other good reason than the negative naysayers who are convinced we're going to be planning an away trip to Stamford next season will stop posting until the next we lose.

1-0 down. Again.

Mid table mediocrity beckons again. Or worse.

How long will the Chairman wait before he pulls the trigger on Fergie again?

If MacAnthony can’t see the problem then he needs to go as well.

We are getting worse despite loads of money being spent.

What's the excuses today from Fumbling Fergie. Too wet. Too windy. Too many new players. Grass too long........ There must be quite a few managers in this league and lower who could do a much better job with a squad of players like we have got at present. We've brought in 3 new attacking midfielders and still can't score. Need a decent manager and a decent captain.

Im not sure where we go from here. Ref was awful today, toney man handled most of the second half, a ref who wanted to be the center of attention all game. Im not sure changing manager once again in the middle of season, will change much, it has not in previous season's.

God you sound like Fergie with all your excuses!
