Bad behaviour of some posh posh at Lincoln 1/1/20

Post by Keith » 01 Jan 2020, 22:39

Very disappointed by the behaviour of some of our so called supporters at Sincil Bank today. Approximately 50 boys and men declined to take their seats and remained standing throughout as near as they could to the excellent Lincoln city singers. This obstructed the view for spectators behind. They shouted obscene language, threw at least 2 metal missiles into home fans area, some assaulted stewards who were simply doing their job, a blue flare was thrown into the penalty area. Many of these individuals spent little time watching the football. The result was many true posh supporters felt threatened and concerned. A lady in front of me was knocked over. We had to leave early - something I have never done before - whatever the score.
The away supporters end was inadequately stewarded. However I fail to see why stewards should have to put themselves in harms way. We and our club has a collective responsbility for the behaviour of the supporters. I took 2 friends to this match. The behaviour of these people is unlikely to encourage them to pay the gatemoney in the future. It is likely to prevent families coming to watch our team play.
How can we play a part to stamp this scourge out of our club?
Is there anyone at the club who has a special interest in this subject?

An old boy was struck on the head by a lighter or similar and a small glass bottle thrown, luckily no one was hurt, horrible little btards didn’t even watch any of the game. Hope they find it as funny when there mug shots are in the press.

Maybe Joe Dent the Club photographer has a 'Gallery' photo of them all. No proof of course they did anything individually but the Club would have an idea what bunch they are.
Hopefully a fan in attendance will inform the Club of the details.(My earlier posting on this appears to have been deleted?....why?)

DMac tweet
To the fans who behaved & supported us throughout the game; thank you for continued support. For the mindless idiots causing trouble; Our club doesn't condone that brainless behaviour & will work on finding who you were & ban you.Apologies to Lincoln & their supporters for that
