Listen to Ryan Bennett on the Posh TV. A top player, a wonderful man, educated and also a Posh favourite!

All of the players mentioned have been superb for Posh in their time and each holds a special memory for each individual who posts. I'm finding it impossible to choose although, Bobby Doyle, Emery, Boyd, Seaman, Ryan Bennett, McCann, Turner, CMS, Tomlin, Toney and Adcock are some of the players that are my favourites. Putting them into a cohesive team would be impossible. (for a start my selection is woefully short of defensive players. This shows the way I think the game should (but isn't) played!
I'm surprised that Mick Gooding is not on your list.

I was only including eleven players and I don't think that he would have replaced any from my list!

I am very surprised that nobody has mentioned the legend Jim Hall. A bit of a carthorse at times (read Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby), but he knew how to score lots of goals, had a great left foot and brilliant in the air. Top of my list any day, LaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLa Jim Hall.

Good shout. Replace Micky Gynn with Dennis Emery and make it a tie between Turner and Ferguson, and that would be closer to my final five.

I agree it is a good shout.

Replace Bobby Doyle, Lee Tomlin, Freddie Hill and Micky Gynn with Denis Emery, Norman Rigby, Grant McCann and George Swindin and make the manager George Swindin and that would be closer to my final five.
