Oh no. Not Wycliffe's mate CHRISTOPHER SARGINSON.
37' Niall Mason (Peterborough United) is shown the yellow card for a bad foul.
45' George Boyd (Peterborough United) is shown the yellow card.
55' Alex Woodyard (Peterborough United) is shown the yellow card for a bad foul.

2-1 ffs.
I watched on i-follow. A 2nd half capitulation.

Dembele must be tired of living. Head butting isn't going to win you any favours is it.

The only consolation from all this is that the top 6 is still anybody's.
Even rubbishy draw specialists Sunderland think they can still get there. :x

71' Siriki Dembélé Red card
90 +6 Match ends, Lincoln City 2, Peterborough United 1.
At least we're still in the top six.
And we've only lost one game this year.

To blame that all on Dembele is ridiculous. Lincoln were already on top when that happened.

Kicking it across the back time & time again put all the pressure on us - a tactic obviously employed by the manager.

Ferguson has signed a load of trash. Eisa is no better than Godden so that 1.5m should have been spent on a midfield.

It’s easy to blame Ferguson I’m just surprised the owner thinks he can do the job, he can’t. There have been times this season when we have flattered to deceive, but overall we have just not been good enough. I’m waiting to hear Ashman’s comments on Maddison, because if the regular whingers on dotnet are correct he was appalling and cost us the game, even more so than Dembele. Would it be a racist comment to call him a Scottish idiot.

Can’t blame that defeat on Dembele or Maddison - yes, stupid sending off & a stupid foul.

However, the game was lost at half time. Lincoln changed their tactics and we couldn’t cope. They pressed us all over the pitch, sussed out our continual kicking it across the back & completely got in our faces. Yet again our manager couldn’t adapt and we were overrun all over the park.

I dread to think what new signings he’ll bring in again

I didn’t watch it so I can only go by what I have read in other places, but apparently MM had a corner when we were down to ten men that he managed to send straight over the box and put us under pressure

If people are seriously suggesting we lost today because of an overhit corner by Maddison then they want to save themselves some money.

I was at the game today as was I at Rotherham and for me Boyd has been non existant in both games and for much of the season. He was dreadful today and it was like playing with 10 men in the first half even before Dembele got his marching orders. Boyd is a luxury we can't afford. He offers nothing going forward. His defensive skills are dire and his mobility at times resembles someone who has seen better days. Why oh why do we keep bringing these ex players back to the club. Its embarrassing! It didn't work with Mackail Smith or Tomlin and it certainly hasn't worked with bringing Boyd back. Get rid and bring in younger players with more energy and who don't want extortionate wages.

That wasn’t what they were saying, but reading between the lines, had we kept the ball instead of letting them have it easily.....

100% agree.

This nostalgia trip that MacAnthony keeps going on needs to stop.

Boyd, McLean, Tyler, Etherington, Davies, Tomlin last season, Mackail-Smith the year before.
