From the Official site
https://www.theposh.com/news/2019/decem ... le-monday/
Expecting a big demand for tickets.
Posh have been allocated an initial allocation of around 1,100 in the Stacey West Stand behind the goal (covered allocated seating) but hope to get an allocation of approximately 1,800 if required.

From the Lincoln City site
https://www.weareimps.com/news/2019/dec ... chsoldout/
City take on Peterborough United on 1st January 2020 (Kick off 3.00pm) and there are now limited numbers of tickets still for sale for the fixture against the Posh.

Tickets are currently still available for the game via Eventbrite by clicking HERE or in person at the club store at LNER Stadium. But be aware that this fixture is also expected to sell out if you haven't got yours yet we recommend you do so.
Lincoln will be hoping to repeat the form they showed against Ipswich.

Some of their fans might see it as a must win game. :)

A big improvement is needed tomorrow against the chimps otherwise I feel another tanking is on the cards. A mate of mine who is a Lincoln fan told me they played Ipswich off the park on Sunday. They seem to have hit form just at the wrong time.

I wouldn't be surprised if we brought back Cooper and Naismith back from their loan spells but not too sure if that's possible.
With injuries and a suspension, it looks like it could be the same ravaged team against Bostwick & co.

Hopefully not the same formation.

From the Lincoln City Official site
Imps to take on Peterborough in home strip
https://www.weareimps.com/news/2019/dec ... kitchange/
Apparently they were originally going to play in blue.
The blue limited-edition kit, which takes inspiration from the Lincolnshire flag with its Fleur-de-lis watermarked design within its material supported by the yellow, green and red striped shoulder design had been planned to be worn for the first time against Peterborough United on New Year’s Day at LNER Stadium.

However, with our opponents on Wednesday usually wearing a traditional blue shirt with white shorts or their predominantly black away kit, the decision has been made that City will now take on Peterborough United in the traditional red and white striped shirt, black shorts and red socks on January 1st.
So, we could be playing in blue instead of the usual black away kit?

Maddison and Dembele back. That's good news. Selection will be interesting.

Happy new year Posh fans.

From the Posh Official site
https://www.theposh.com/matches/fixture ... 01-jan-20/
TEAM NEWS

Posh welcome back Marcus Maddison from a hamstring injury for the clash at Sincil Bank, an injury that ruled him out of the loss at Rotherham. Siriki Dembele trained on New Year’s Eve and has been added to the squad following a prolonged period out of the side with a hand injury.

Serhat Tasdemir, Frazer Blake-Tracy, Nathan Thompson, Josh Knight and Idris Kanu have been ruled out while centre back Frankie Kent is suspended following his red card at the New York Stadium. The Imps have been without captain Jason Shackell after he limped out of their 2-0 victory over Burton Albion, but Appleton is hopeful he is back in contention for tomorrow's game. Bruno Andrade is still out through injury.

FROM THE GAFFER

“Lincoln had a good win over Ipswich. It was a bit out of sync with their results in as much as there hasn’t been too many goals in wins or defeats. They are a dangerous side, we need to respond from the last performance against Rotherham. It is a bit of a local derby, we will be backed by 1,700 supporters and we owe them a performance. We will be ready,” Darren Ferguson said.
