We're all pleased Evans is gone, except you. You were happy the fat fool embarrassed us so often
I just want the team I support to be successful.

Some just want mediocrity - you're winning.

Well done Ricky.
4-2 is a respectable score so far against a team with four internationals.

Rochdale 1 Newcastle 1 is a hell of a lot more respectful with a team worth less than £1m

You're pleased to be losing 4-2. You should find another sport.

Last four matches. For 3 against 13. You don't have to be an expert to see where the problem lies!

Perspective please.
We just lost to a premier team that no one realistically expected us to win anyway.
Their player Rodriguez cost £10 million. If you want to go doom and gloom over one poor run over a busy festive period then you should have focused on the 12.30, one minute pause for thought time.

We are defensively poor.

I don't agree, we just don't have a midfield, all four are more accustomed to creating rather than stopping. The diamond doesn't work full stop.

You see, I just don't understand that negative way of thinking.

Why didn't we have a realistic chance of winning (certainly drawing)? It was Burnley, not Barcelona. Rochdale drew with Newcastle today, at time of writing Tranmere are drawing away to Watford, Carlisle are drawing away at Cardiff etc.

Rodriguez cost £10m - Ivan Toney has been priced the same. Ricky is supposedly worth almost that.

Far, far too negative to say we had no chance today - I'm bitterly disappointed to be trounced by a higher league team again when I see all the other results going on.

This 100%.

Just seen Fergie's interview & he said we're sticking with the diamond for the foreseeable future. We simply don't have the personnel to play that way.
Reed is almost on his own, Boyd is out of position & not fit/good enough for that role anymore & even Marcus is wasted when he's not on the wing.

A lot speak highly of Knight, but he is played out of position when he does play, to the right of a diamond. Blake-Tracey is probably the nearest we have to a wide player in a diamond, yet like Mark Little in a previous Ferguson incarnation as a right sided full back, B-T is better served as a wing back to the side of a back three. If we continue playing a flat back four behind a diamond I'm afraid the only way the season is going to go is South.
