We never had a chance of being drawn against Stevenage or Newport County!
The winners of Groups E, F, G and H were always going to be drawn against the runners-up of Groups A, B, C or D
Therefore it was always going to be Ipswich Town, Oxford Utd, Leyton Orient or Coventry City.
I know which of those four I would prefer - but you just knew it would be Ipswich.

It just depends on how the teams mentioned approach the game.
Orient could well see it as a good step for an accumulation of dosh and put out a very strong team.
Ipswich and Oxford might see it as an hindrance to their ambition of Championship football.
Posh could well put out an inferior team as well.
It would be helpful, but impossible, to see the lineups a week before the games, so as to judge the seriousness of what each of these teams have towards the Leasing.com Trophy.

I think that DMac and Fergie will take it seriously despite the way fans think of it.
I hope Ipswich do see it "as an hindrance to their ambition of Championship football."
Time will tell.

I'm certain Dmac will take it seriously .... and will want Fergie to as well
He has previously said he would like to take his Canadian co-owners to Wembley for a cup final or play-off final.

Fergie obviously wanted to win. He brought Eisa and Toney on ready for a penalty shoot out. We still lost though.
