Re: Posh v Chorley FA Cup 2nd Round

I'm not sure Dmac would go along with that idea since we haven't already sacked them twice

Re: Posh v Chorley FA Cup 2nd Round

Imo there are still many people wearing rose-tinted glasses and still cheering our back to back promotion. Those days are gone. I'm a realist and recognise that we're now in 2020. I cannot and never have been able to understand the lunacy (imo) of taking someone back who Posh have sacked twice. Eith...

Re: Posh v Chorley FA Cup 2nd Round

Embarrassing. The proof of whether he's up to the job of delivering what Dmac wants comes on Tuesday. His formations have been rumbled, likewise how our very expensive squad plays. I could accept this result if we'd played our U21s today....but he didn't. The proof comes against Wimbledon.

Re: Posh v Chorley FA Cup 2nd Round

It's a disgrace considering the squad. I'm not looking forward to Tuesday. What the hell have you said to them Fergie?

Re: Posh v Chorley FA Cup 2nd Round

That old phrase of "Let's concentrate on the league now" springs to mind.

Re: Posh v Plymouth

I believed the bit about the rabbits and told special needs Boxer. The kitchen now looks like Beirut. He's been sedated now so I should be able to listen to us win. Sort it Fergie!!

Re: POSH V Blackpool

Neil Critchley told us that he'd watched us play at Crewe. So he knew how Crewe successfully combatted our play. So he adopted the same tactics and guess what? It worked. The same thing happened when Fergie was infatuated with the diamond. Fergie is unable to react fast enough when his formations ar...

Re: POSH V Blackpool

Crewe was bad and today was the same. Awful watching.
If this is the result of an inspirational speech to the team during the week, we're in trouble.

Re: First Quarter Report

A nice report JohnC. Some interesting food for thought in it too. Thanks very much. I'd like to think that DF and the board happen to click on it.

The objective now is 4 points. 3 for the win and 1 for a big goal difference at the season's end. Let's see how he tweaks things.

Nice controlled finish by JCH but the back 4 were awesome.

Re: they think it's all over.....it is now

They finished outside the playoffs so I'm afraid I don't agree with the notion that they "deserved it". Neither am I swayed by the EFL algorithm to bump them up above us, so yes, I shall still be looking every Saturday in the hope they get panned. Childish? Petty? Maybe so but that's the way I feel.
