Re: Fixtures for top teams and recent form

On the whole, the drastic diamond inspired woeful christmas season form has us in a bit of a scramble for the desired automatic spot - 6 points behind Rovrum and a lot of games left...we should be i a better position but, it is what it is and we have to get a win Saturday without Ivan and then beat...

Re: Fixtures for top teams and recent form

So we're down to 6th after tonight's games (Tuesday).

We have to go on an almighty run to secure the top two, but it's becoming more & more apparent that the play offs are our only hope now.

Re: Brexit strikes

Such a shame people were such racists as to vote the opposite way to what you so obviously wanted. Who used to pick his strawberries before there was an influx of people from overseas to come along and pick his fruit for him. The answer lies in the fact that the majority of strawberries were picked...

Re: Brexit strikes

Brilliant that the fruit farmer Harry Hall, who voted Leave & employs 2,500 migrants to pick his strawberries every year, is now complaining that he won't be able to find enough staff.

You honestly couldn't make this stuff up.

Re: Brexit strikes

Why are Brexiteers still so worried about the Labour Party? The Amsterdam news has been leaked by somebody working in local authority, nothing to do with the Guardian. You've won. You should be ecstatic. Oh, & the new immigration laws are brilliant news for racists too. What could you possibly compl...

Re: Brexit strikes

Just been to our local supermarket, not a single empty shelf, I was gutted I may have to go to B&Q to get the shelves. In other (more relevant) Brexit news.. 81 small companies have already left the UK & set up new premises in & around Amsterdam (this is a leaked report from a local authority). The...

Re: This weeks exciting news!

Yes but no doubt those who still live in the city will be able to see the work in progress. With the way the internet works some of us further afield will get to see photographs. Modern builds like this always feature a live webcam. You'll be able to refresh every five minutes & watch each brick go...

Currently listening to The World/Inferno Friendship Society's new album 'All Borders Are Porous To Cats'.

Different but very listenable.

I quite like their earlier stuff, much prefer the female vocals at the front.
I find the mix of both male & female vocals just right. They play off each other.

Seriously, the new album is well worth a listen.

I've got into Murder by Death too. Very similar type of music.
