Re: Fergie - Mid season review

If he gets the bullet from Posh, could his managerial career be over. He's only failed when he's gone elsewhere and his tactics are predictable & stale. I'd say this is his last chance in the professional game!

Re: Fergie - Mid season review

Very refreshing to hear Eddie Howe saying he’s looking at himself & if he’s doing a good enough job. After all his success at Bournemouth, it takes a man to own up to his possible shortcomings. Unfortunately we have a manager with a famous surname who never takes responsibility Because Steve Evans ...

Re: World's Greatest Women

Thatcher? For god's sake. I really can't think of any women that changed the face of the world. I'm not being sexist just honest. The greatest woman wouldn't destroy a country's social housing stock, create a society based on greed & try to kill community spirit (no such thing as society?) Bu...

Re: Great Prime Ministers (UK and Australia)

My same job is far better paid in Germany & France with significantly more annual leave. Things are only going to get worse as EU workers rights go out the window. I assure you that if you left you would not be missed My same job is far better paid in Germany & France with significantly more annual...

Grapes sour rearrange into a well known phrase or saying Grapes sour rearrange into a well known phrase or saying A truly great leader wouldn't have so many people so resentful after all these years. Re: Fergie - Mid season review

Under Fergie we're not going to go anywhere spectacular but if we're happy to be steadily average then maybe he's your man. Nobody else accepts working for a dictator so unless things change from top to bottom, maybe he's the most stable option.

Fergie - Mid season review

Yes, I follow from afar and I've only been to one game this season in person. But how do you think Fergie is doing this time around? I was never his biggest fan and nothing has changed for me.

Re: Great Prime Ministers (UK and Australia)

Although he uses more emotive language than I would , I see nothing disgraceful whatsoever in his comments Thatcherism was undoubtedly the root cause of the fact that we have such a north south divide as we have today Once the heavy industry had been dismantled throughout the industrial areas she d...

Re: World's Greatest Women

Thatcher really was an evil witch. She did more to destroy mind, body and soul than anyone at that time. She certainly nearly destroyed me but I won through. Absolute rubbish. The UK is still suffering from Thatcher's policies. Taking away industry was a big mistake, no major country can survive th...

Re: Greatest athletes of all time

It strikes me that if someone has opinions that differ from yours they are unhappy. Knocking Tony because his number one priority was not the fires in Australia. I think his wife’s illness is far more pressing. That's all the worse Bristle. Small issues which regard a small minority of fans shouldn...

Whitey has got five, but he had to Google them He has to google everything, it took him about three months to come up with an answer to Tony in another thread, they probably have slow dial up in Scotland. Or it could be that I have a busy life outside of this forum. Maybe you should widen your hori...

Re: Posh and Thomas Cook

I'm not sure how many travel agents or trolley dollys fancy coming along to watch us on Saturday while their whole life is in turmoil. "coming along to watch" ? Don't you mean going along? Do you still live in Globogym? I don't think you've ever lived in Globogym. Very bizarre response Tony. Time t...

Did people observe the one minute silence?
