Re: Coronavirus

The Christmas five day lifting of restrictions should be cancelled. I anticipate a considerable increase of infections/deaths in the weeks following the break. Covid does not recognize or respect Christmas. Our children and grandchildren usually come to us for Boxing Day lunch & tea. Not this year t...

Re: Posh v Chorley FA Cup 2nd Round

I'd start Eisa. If he can get amongst the goals it will do his confidence the world of good. Apart from that, I think Reed deserves another go but I wouldn't change too much else. Need to spank these on Saturday night. 10-1 Eisa 4, Dembele 3, Reed, Kent, Butler Darren has already said he will play ...

Re: POSH V Blackpool

It’s groundhog season again. How can the club progress if we’re stuck in stalemate? It's not groundhog season and it's not stalemate. We lost and the best team (on the day) won. As HantsPosh said Plymouth got spanked 5-1 today. By Fleetwood. We beat Fleetwood 2-1. Fergie will sort it. He said so in...

Re: POSH V Blackpool

It’s groundhog season again. As soon as the opposition suss us out, the manager is unable to react. It’s no longer coincidence, it’s obviously beyond Fergie’s capabilities as a football manager. It’s a shame because it’s obvious that MacAnthony struggles to work with any other manager. How can the ...

Re: Coronavirus

I would have the vaccination and I would ensure that my wife would. You sound like a control freak Tony! I don't know what a control freak sounds like. My wife is at an advanced stage of Alzheimer's and I would have to ensure that she had the vaccination. A dreadful disease. You have my sincere sym...

A serious couple of questions for those who voted Brexit.

Are you happy with a No Deal Brexit?

Would you have voted for it if you knew that would be the [eventual] outcome?
Yes and Yes.

The line judge was a bit of a wimp but I guess they have to set an example!

Re: Bigger clubs than Posh

1.Level of regular home match gates.
2.Level at which the club plays - those playing in a higher league will usually be bigger clubs.

Re: Coronavirus

All the vaccines in the world plus testing and tracing will never mean that persons are 100% safe from Covid-19. The virus will evolve just like 'flu but with more serious consequences. At some point the risk must be taken to ease lockdown restrictions. Is life worth living if one is to be confined ...

Re: Coronavirus

Social distancing may have helped but there is a limit to its practicality. Social distancing is the most important way of stopping the spread of this virus. It has definitely helped. You will have to get used to it. You might be allowed to go to a restaurant but social distancing will apply, in my...

Re: Coronavirus

Social isolation cannot continue in its present form for much longer. Social distancing may have helped but there is a limit to its practicality. Many persons are finding the restrictions ever more difficult while if they are not allowed to reopen for business, many will simply not survive. School c...

If he returns from hospital and then starts to give good leadership then it will be a miracle cure because he has never once done that before , unless you count hiding in a fridge as good leadership
Give it a rest please.

Re: Coronavirus

Have been for three short walks with my wife. Have to get into my car tomorrow or a medical appointment for my cancer treatment. Am apprehensive.
Have also cut my lawns and trimmed the edges.
The thought of six months or more of self isolation is not a happy one.
