Re: Alex Woodyard

Contrary to what other Posh fans might think, I've always liked Woodyard. Not the quickest of players or the most gifted, but always put a shift in. His best position was in front of the back four where he could be used as a defensive midfielder. We haven't got anyone like him now, all powder puff ...

Re: DMac might quit?

A worrying thing is that shortly before DMac came in the end of season league table looked like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005%E2%80%9306_Football_League#Football_League_Two If you look closely more than half of the teams have been relegated to non-league and four of them YES four don't ex...

Re: Wimbledon v Posh

On a brighter note, it was nice to see several board members at the game, Poshnipper and little ‘un, Ashman, Waggon, Mylo, Eton Ed, Adi, and I saw Brian, not sur whether he spotted me he was disappearing into the seated area. Nick, so sorry, no, I did not see you. Paul and I were in the small seate...

Meanwhile he really should consider changing away from the diamond.
Go to 3-5-2 would be my choice!
He generally does, but seems to refuse to start like it and waits till we are one down.

If it ain't working fix it, not wait until it ain't working AGAIN

Re: Wimbledon v Posh

Waiting for the Pym’s not good enough brigade, he was easily our MOM today without him or with a lesser keeper 4-0 5-0. Toney apart from defensively was woeful was nearly as bad as Magic fell down every time somebody blew him a kiss. They weren’t very good but as usual tried harder and were more phy...

Re: Wimbledon v Posh

The referee for the last game was Ollie Yates and he awarded a controversial penalty to the home side which gave them victory. Here's hoping we get a better ref this time (assuming there is one). As Wycliffe has pointed out good ones are few and far between. REFEREE: Darren Drysdale Wycliffe doesn'...

Re: Sam Cartwright

With Mason, Knight, Bennett, and Kent with Cartwright and Copping coming through is there any need for us to keep Beevers who strikes me is as much use as tits on a bull.
